All the recipes below are raw and will require no cooking – only refrigeration! The natural sugars from raw honey and pure maple syrup have been used to sweeten these recipes.
Chocolate Hemp Protein Energy Bars
2 cups organic oats (gluten free if necessary)
1/2 cup chopped cashew nuts
1/2 cup mixed seeds e.g pumpkin, sunflower, linseed, sesame
1 scoop Hemp protein complex powder
1 cup dates (organic medjool dates recommended)
2 tbsp organic cocoa powder
1/2 cup coconut oil
2 tbsp nut butter e.g cashew
1 tbsp pure maple syrup or raw honey to taste.
Melt the coconut oil. Make the dates into a paste in a food processor with a small amount of water. Mix all the dry ingredients together.
Add the dates to the dry mixture followed by the nut butter and mix well. Add the maple syrup or honey to the melted coconut and add to the rest of the ingredients. Transfer the mixture to a container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. This recipe is gluten and dairy free. Keep refrigerated.
Coconut Superfood Energy Balls

4 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
2 scoops Green Nourishment complex powder
3 tbsp organic cocoa powder
3 cups organic oats
2 tbsp cashew or almond butter
50g desiccated coconut
1 tbsp pure maple syrup.
Stir the maple syrup into the melted coconut oil. Mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the coconut oil mixture and the nut butter. Shape into balls and roll in the desiccated coconut. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Makes approx 16 balls. This recipe is dairy free. Keep refrigerated.
Apricot and Almond Superfood Energy Bars
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup pistachio kernels
1 cup organic apricots
1/2 cup coconut oil
2 cups organic oats
2 scoops Green Nourishment complex powder
1 tbsp raw honey
Chop up the almonds and pistachio kernels in a food processor and transfer to a mixing bowl. Chop up the apricots in the food processor with a enough water to make a paste. Mix all the dry ingredients together and add in the apricots. Melt the coconut oil in a pan, remove from heat and stir in the raw honey. Add to the other ingredients and mix well. Transfer to a tin and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Dairy free. Keep refrigerated.
Coconut and Hemp Energy Balls
2 cups organic coconut flakes
1 scoop Hemp protein complex powder
3 tbsp organic cocoa powder
2 tbsp nut butter e.g coconut and almond
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
Mix the coconut flakes, hemp and cocoa powders together and then add the nut butter, maple syrup and coconut oil one at a time and mix well. Shape into balls and refrigerate. Makes around 10. Gluten and dairy free.
Superfood Cashew Energy Balls
2 cups dates (medjool dates recommended)
2 scoops Green Nourishment complex powder
2 tsp cashew butter
100g cashews
Chop the cashews in food processor and set aside. Chop up the dates in a food processor.
Add a small amount of water to make a paste. Add the green nourishment powder and cashew butter and 2 tbsp of the chopped cashews and mix together.
Shape the mixture into balls and roll in the remaining ground cashews. Makes approx 16. Dairy free. Keep refrigerated.
Omega-3 Hemp Brownies
1 scoop Hemp protein complex powder
2 tbsp organic cocoa powder
3 tbsp ground flaxseed
2 cups dates (medjool dates recommended)
1-2 tbsp pure maple syrup to sweeten if required (optional)
Chop up the dates in a food processor. Add a small amount of water to the mixture to make a paste, add in the dry ingredients and mix to a dough consistency. Transfer mixture into a suitable container and chill for at least 1 hour. Gluten and dairy free.
Superfood fudge
2 tbsp Green Nourishment complex powder
4 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp almond or cashew butter
6 tbsp organic cocoa powder
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan and stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour
the mixture into a container ( silicon chocolate moulds work well) and refrigerate for at least
2 hours. Keep refrigerated. Dairy free.
