The recipes below are raw and will require no cooking – only refrigeration!
Chocolate Hemp Protein Energy Bars
2 cups organic oats (gluten free if necessary)
1/2 cup chopped cashew nuts
1/2 cup mixed seeds e.g pumpkin, sunflower, linseed, sesame
1 scoop Hemp protein complex powder
1 cup dates (medjool dates recommended)
2 tbsp organic cocoa powder
1/2 cup coconut oil
2 tbsp cashew butter
1 tbsp pure maple syrup or raw honey to taste.
Melt the coconut oil. Make the dates into a paste in a food processor with a small amount of water . Mix all the dry ingredients together.
Add the coconut oil and dates to the dry mixture along with the dates and sweeten with maple syrup or honey to taste. Transfer the mixture to a container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. This recipe is gluten and dairy free. Keep refrigerated.
Omega-3 Hemp Brownies
1 scoop Hemp protein complex powder
2 tbsp organic cocoa powder
3 tbsp ground flaxseed
2 cups dates (medjool dates recommended)
1-2 tbsp pure maple syrup to sweeten if required (optional)
Chop up the dates in a food processor. Add a small amount of water to the mixture to make a paste, add in the dry ingredients and mix to a dough. Transfer mixture into a suitable container and chill for at least 1 hour. Gluten and dairy free.
Chocolate and Banana Hemp Smoothie
1 banana (ideally frozen)
2 cups chocolate almond milk – the chocolate flavour works well with hemp
1 scoop Hemp Protein Complex
Whizz all ingredients together in a NutriBullet or blender.
Chocolate and Banana Hemp Berry Breakfast Smoothie
1/2 cup organic oats
1 cup frozen berries
2 cups chocolate almond milk
1 scoop Hemp Protein Complex
1-2 tsp pure maple syrup (if required) to sweeten.
Whizz all ingredients together in a NutriBullet or blender.
